What does PAT mean?

PAT, Process Analytical Technology, is an FDA initiative to encourage industry to develop/use new analytical technology and multivariate analyses as part of their risk management and QA/QC strategies. PAT encompasses online, real-time analysis, process control tools, continuous improvement, knowledge management and statistical tools.
